This is America's 240th birthday. I'm thankful for the early founders of this great country basing the birth of a new nation on Christian principles. Yes, that is true. Interesting reading on this important day in our nation's history:

We (Barbara, Kelly and Mel) left at 6:45 a.m. for an early morning boat ride from our home to the Dreher Shoals Dam on Lake Murray (a distance of about 9 miles by water).
